Samsung introduces Galaxy Buds Pro charging cases shaped like retro clamshell phones. Specifically, they were made to look like the Anycall T100 and the Anycall E700 feature phones from the early 2000s.

The adorable charging cases followed Samsung’s Unpacked event last week—which debuted their Galaxy S21 line, as well as the Galaxy Buds Pro. However, it seems like the cases are not exactly available everywhere.

At the moment, it appears that the Anycall charging case covers are only available in South Korea and you can view them on their website.

Each of the Anycall cases cost KRW 33,000 (about RM122), but only as an add-on purchase with the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. There is no option of buying them separately—not yet, anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro costs RM799 in Malaysia and official sales begin from 15 of January 2021. Pre-order is now available and they are offering a wireless charging pad worth RM239 for free while stocks last. They have up to five hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned on (eight hours without ANC). The charging case adds 13 hours onto battery life (20 hours without ANC).

The Galaxy Buds Pro are also rated at IPX7 for water resistance—which means that they can withstand moderate rainfall and sweat, but they’re not great when submerged in water. Additionally, they have new 3D Spatial Audio function—just like the AirPods Pro—which recognises which way your head is turned, and adjusts audio accordingly to provide the “spatial” effect.

If you’re keen to get yourselves a good deal when pre-ordering the Galaxy S21 series, you can get an additional Samsung ANC Type-C Earphones (worth RM299) for free with the promo code SCS21VIP via the Samsung online store.
