Touch ‘n Go has announced that its eWallet now supports street parking payment in Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya. This allows you to pay for Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya council parking directly from your smartphone. If you’re an existing Touch ‘n Go eWallet user, this means you won’t have to maintain a separate credit on other parking apps such as Smart Selangor Parking.
According to their Facebook post, the integration is made possible with its partnership with Smart Selangor Parking and Flexi Parking. In total, Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s parking feature supports 9 different councils which also include Kuala Terengganu, Subang Jaya, Machang, Kota Bharu, Kuala Langat and Putrajaya.
Touch ‘n Go eWallet has also recently resumed support for Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) street parking from the 21st of November 2020. Support for DBKL parking was previously suspended temporarily when city hall had decommissioned its parking machines from 1st October 2020.
The Touch ‘n Go eWallet is available on Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery.
