If you suddenly couldn’t send or receive messages via Facebook and Instagram Messenger, you’re not alone. It appears that the chat services for both apps are having issues at the moment and it affects all users worldwide including Malaysia.
According to Downdetector, there’s a surge of complaints for both Facebook Messenger and Instagram. On the desktop website, you’ll probably see a Connection error on the Facebook Messenger chat window. At the time of writing, both Facebook and Instagram social feeds are still working normally. WhatsApp appears to be normal as well.
