Rollable OLED screen on a smartphone? Oppo X 2021 | ICYMI #436

Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of ICYMI! Today we have few topics to cover and that includes an earbuds from Jabra that can last up to 31 hours with ANC and also a new prototype device from Oppo which can transform from a normal smartphone to a larger screen.

Oppo X 2021

During Oppo’s Inno Day 2020 event, they have introduced the Oppo X 2021, a new prototype device that can transform from a normal smartphone to a larger screen tablet. The X 2021 comes with a rolling OLED display which is said to overcome the creasing issue with typical folding displays. To find out more about the prototype, click here.

Jabra Elite 85t Malaysia

Jabra has recently revealed their new earbuds called the Elite 85t with active noise cancellation (ANC) in Malaysia. The compact earbuds are claimed to be one of the smallest earbuds that offer ANC. If you are interested, this pair of earbuds is going for RM1,049 and it will be available at select retailers from 4 December 2020 onwards. More details here.

Poco M3 is launching on 24 November

The Poco X3 NFC is currently one of the best value for money smartphones you can buy for less than RM1,000. If you’re looking for newer and cheaper options, they are about to launch a new device that’s called the Poco M3. Click here for more details about the upcoming smartphone.

Huawei Pay now available in Malaysia

Huawei Malaysia has announced the arrival of Huawei Pay which enables NFC contactless payments on a compatible smartphone. At the moment, Huawei Pay in Malaysia only supports UnionPay credit cards issued by ICBC. Click here to find out more.
