I’ve been posting picture of my pets in Instagram for the longest time, and it never crossed my mind that I could potentially win a prize for it. Samsung is currently holding a contest where you can do just that.
Starting now until 28 November 2020, Samsung is holding the #GalaxyAwesome contest. There will be two themes in the contest—which includes one for “furry friends” (#AwesomePawsome), and one for food (#AwesomelyYummy).
The #AwesomePawsome contest runs from now til 14 November. The first prize is a Samsung Galaxy A31, the second prize is a Samsung Galaxy A21s, and the third prize is a Samsung Galaxy A11. As for the #AwesomelyYummy contest, it’ll run from 15 November to 28 November—the prizes would be the same.
While this is a Samsung contest, there is no word in their terms and conditions page about using another type of phone to take the picture for the contest. Each submission will be based on how it fits with the theme, how creative it is, and how original the submission is. The submissions will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the organiser.
The first prize for the contest—the Samsung Galaxy A31—is currently on priced at RM889 in Lazada but on 11.11 it is going for RM799. It’s considered an affordable mid-range device, so it might not be worth winning the top prize if you already have something a little better like a flagship phone.
Still, winning a Samsung Galaxy phone for taking a creative picture of your pet is no small feat. You can learn more about the contest here.
