Need to fix your Galaxy phone? Samsung now offers free pickup and delivery repair service

With more places being placed under Conditional Movement Control Order, Samsung Malaysia is now offering free pickup and delivery repair service so that you can get your Galaxy phone fixed without leaving your home. This is offered free of charge for Samsung phones and tablets in Malaysia that are still under warranty.

The free pickup service is available within 20km of the 8 Samsung authorised service centres that are located in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pulau Pinang, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak as listed below. To make an appointment, you can contact Samsung Careline at 1-800-22-8899.

The pickup and delivery service is available from Monday to Friday between 10am to 4pm. The operating hours are subject to any SOP changes that are issued by the authorities from time to time.

The service is also available for devices that are out of warranty but there’s an inspection fee of RM30. According to Samsung, the device will be repaired and returned to you within approximately 3 business days after it is received by the authorised service centre, provided that the spare parts are available.

Customers are advised to backup their devices and perform a full factory reset before sending their phones or tablets for service. All microSD and SIM cards must be removed as well. Before returning your phone, Samsung Malaysia will also sanitise your phone with UV-C light.
