Oppo Enco W51: This headphones offer ANC and wireless charging for under RM400

Oppo Malaysia has officially announced the Enco W51, its new TWS headphones that offer active noise cancellation. At first glance, it looks like the Enco W31 but it gets a different case which supports wireless charging.

The earbuds themselves still retain an AirPod-like stem design and it comes with a triple mic setup for each side for noise cancellation. According to Oppo, the W51 uses a dual-core digital noise reduction chip and it can reduce unwanted background noise by up to 35 dB. The ANC can be adjusted by double tapping the left earpiece twice.

The in-ear headphones uses 7mm dynamic drivers and connects via Bluetooth 5.0. According to the spec-sheet, it can support up to 4 hours of music playback on a single charge with ANC turned off or 3.5 hours with ANC switched on. With the charging case, you can get up to 24 hours of listening time without ANC.

The case takes 80 minutes for a full charge via its USB-C port and a quick 15-minute charge is said to be enough to push up to 9 hours of playback without ANC. If you charge it on a wireless charging pad, it will take 2.5 hours for a full charge.

The W51 also gets IP54-rated dust and water resistance which is good enough to withstand light showers. The headphones are now available with a retail price of RM369. It’s available in Floral White and Starry Blue. If you’re interested, you can order it online via Lazada and Shopee.

For the price, this is probably the most affordable TWS earphones that offer both active noise cancellation and wireless charging. The closest contender is probably the Honor Magic EarBuds and the Huawei FreeBuds 3i, but both do not support wireless charging.
