Realme Malaysia has introduced two new smartphones that come with a high-refresh rate display and a huge battery. Both are running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and are priced under RM1,000.
Below are the official Malaysian pricing for the new devices:
Realme 7i (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) – RM999
Realme C17 (6GB RAM + 256GB storage) – RM899
The Realme 7i is available for purchase online starting today, 13th October at 2pm via Lazada. The device is offered in 2 colours – Aurora Green and Polar Blue.
As a first day sale promo, they are offering a free Realme 10,000mAh Power Bank 2 worth RM129. The new phone will also be available at Realme stores and dealers from the 17th October 2020 and they are bundling a pair of Realme Buds Classic for free.
Realme has yet to provide availability details for the C17 but it has indicated that it will be offered via Digi very soon. The C17 comes in 2 colours – Lake Green and Navy Blue.
The Realme 7i gets a 6.5″ HD+ (1600×820 pixels) LCD display. It pushes a 90Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage that’s expandable via microSD.
For taking pictures, it has a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There’s also a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the punch-hole houses a 16MP front camera. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via USB-C.
The Realme C17 looks similar to the 7i but it gets a lower spec processor. Upfront, it also gets a similar 6.5″ 90Hz HD+ display but it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. While it comes with just 6GB RAM, storage is doubled with 256GB onboard.
In the camera department, it gets a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2MP shooters for macro and depth sensing. The top corner of the screen houses a 8MP punch-hole selfie camera. Powering the C17 is also a 5,000mAh battery and it also supports 18W fast charging via USB-C.
