Huawei Malaysia will soon introduces its latest wearables – the FreeBuds Pro and the Watch GT 2 Pro. Both were announced earlier last month and they will be making its debut in Malaysia during the upcoming 10.10 online sale at 10.08am.

At the time of writing, both devices are already listed on Huawei’s online store but there’s no official Malaysian pricing. In Europe, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro is priced at EUR 199 (about RM971) while the Watch GT 2 Pro is priced from EUR 329 (about RM1,605) for the Sports variant. Expect the price to be significantly lower when it goes on sale in Malaysia.

[ UPDATE 5/10/2020 10:15 ]: The Huawei FreeBuds Pro is officially priced at RM699 while the Watch GT 2 Pro is going for RM1,199.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro are the company’s latest TWS earphones that boasts dynamic active noise cancelling technology. This allows the headphones to switch between noise cancelling modes such as Ultra Mode, Cozy Mode and General Mode.

Huawei claims that it cancels noise better than Apple’s AirPods Pro as it can cut down environmental noise up to 40dB. It supports Bluetooth 5.2 and it boasts up to 7 hours of music playback with ANC disabled or up to 4.5 hours with ANC enabled.

With the case, you can expect to get up to a total of 30 hours of listening time. The case charges via USB-C and it also supports wireless charging.

For Malaysia, it appears to be available only in two colours – Silver Frost and Ceramic White. You can learn more about the headphones in our announcement post.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro looks like a premium upgrade over the current Watch GT 2. It features a 1.39″ AMOLED display pushing 454×454 pixels resolution and it runs on a Kirin A1 chip. On a full charge it still boasts an impressive 14-day battery life on standard mode and it now supports wireless charging.

As you would expect from a fitness oriented smart watch, it has 24 hour heart rate monitoring, oxygen saturation detection and sleep monitoring. For a more premium appearance, the Watch GT 2 Pro uses wear-resistant sapphire watch dial with a titanium frame, while the back uses a “skin-friendly” ceramic back for greater comfort.
