Oppo A93 with a total of 6 cameras is coming soon to Malaysia

Oppo Malaysia has started teasing its upcoming Oppo A93 smartphone. This appears to be a new mid-range smartphone and it claims to offer “6 AI Portrait cameras”.

From the official teaser image, we get to see quad-camera setup at the rear and the camera bump looks inspired by the iPhone 11 series. It also gets a dual-selfie-punch-hole camera on the top left corner of the screen.

The full specs for the Oppo A93 isn’t revealed yet but it will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. We expect Oppo Malaysia to drop more clues for the new device in the coming weeks.

Rebadged Oppo F17 Pro

The new Oppo A93 appears to be a rebadged of the Oppo F17 Pro that’s launched in India. It also features the same camera bump and a dual-tone design for the rear. Based on the official spec-sheet, the F17 Pro comes with a 6.43″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device runs on a MediaTek Helio P95 paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage, which is still expandable via microSD card.

In the camera department, the device has a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and two 2MP mono cameras for depth effects. For selfies, the wide punch-hole houses a 16MP front camera along with a secondary 2MP depth sensor.

Powering the F17 Pro is a 4,015mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging via USB-C. The device also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. In India, the device is pried at INR 22,990 (about RM1,300).
