Honor MagicBook Pro and Watch GS Pro are coming to Malaysia very soon

Honor Malaysia has confirmed that it will be bringing the latest MagicBook Pro and Watch GS Pro to our market very soon. The two devices were recently announced during last week’s IFA 2020 event.

Honor Malaysia hasn’t provided any specific launch date or pricing details just yet. During the global launch, it was revealed that the MagicBook Pro and Watch GS Pro will be available in our market starting from October.

In Europe, the MagicBook Pro with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage is priced at EUR 899.99 (about RM4,430). Meanwhile, the Honor Watch GS Pro is priced at EUR EUR 249.99 (about RM1,230). Expect the devices to be priced lower when it goes on sale in Malaysia.

To recap, the Honor MagicBook Pro is a 16.1″ Full HD laptop that runs on a 7nm AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor with up to 16GB of DDR RAM and up to 512GB of NVMe SSD. It has a 56Wh battery that’s rated to last up to 11 hours on a single charge and it supports 65W fast charging via USB-C. Overall, it is 16.9mm thick and it weighs 1.7kg. The Honor Watch GS Pro is a rugged military-grade version of its Magic Watch 2. It complies with 14 MIL-STD-810G tests and can handle extreme temperatures from as low as -40°C up to 70°C. It also features the same 1.39″ AMOLED display and it runs on the same Kirin A1 chip as the Huawei Watch GT 2 and Magic Watch 2.

The Watch GS Pro also gets an improved battery that boasts up to 25 days on a single charge. Honor also claims that it can last up to 47 hours of usage in outdoor GPS performance mode. You can learn more about the smartwatch in our announcement post.
