Deal: Poco F2 Pro with Snapdragon 865 can be yours for RM1,499

If you’re looking for a flagship phone but missed the recently concluded 9.9 sale, not to worry. The popular Poco F2 Pro with 128GB of storage is still available at its reduced price of RM1,499.

The device with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage was released less than 4 months ago for RM2,199. Now you can get it for only RM1,499 via the official Xiaomi Global store on Shopee. This is a significant RM700 off from its launch price.

At the time of writing, stocks are still available for the Grey and White colour options. Do note that the Xiaomi Global store ships its products from overseas but they are still covered by our local Xiaomi Malaysia warranty. If you prefer the higher spec 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, it is currently going for RM2,299.

To recap, the Poco F2 Pro features a 6.67″ AMOLED display that pushes a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with either 6GB LPDDR4X RAM or 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. You have a choice of 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage which isn’t expandable.

For taking pictures, the rear gets a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. If you need to take a selfie, it features a pop-up 20MP front camera.

Powering the Poco F2 Pro is a large 4,700mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging via USB-C. Also retained is a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster is also included. With this reduced price, Xiaomi is really undercutting its newer rivals including the OnePlus Nord.

If you’re looking for something more affordable, Xiaomi has recently announced the Poco X3 NFC which is priced from RM899. It features a 6.67″ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and it runs on a Snapdragon 732G processor. It also gets a huge 5,160mAh battery with stereo speakers. You can learn more about that device here.
