Acer Predator x Osim gaming chair now available for pre-order in Malaysia at 51% off

Remember the Predator gaming chair that Acer collaborated with Osim and announced during its next@Acer event back in June? Osim Malaysia has begun accepting pre-orders for the chair on its website.

The Predator Gaming Chair x Osim currently listed at a pre-order price of RM2,399, which is more than half the ‘usual price’ of RM4,899. The first 100 pre-order customers will receive a free Osim uVision 3 Eye Massager. Osim is also offering two years warranty on the chair and expects to ship them by the end of October.

The new gaming chair uses Osim’s proprietary V-Hand Massage Technology. It is said to utilise a host of different massage techniques such as knead, press, roll and tap that cover a user’s entire back. Osim claims the chair is able to help keep gamers relaxed and limber while they play.

The chair also comes with two built-in Bluetooth speakers that flank its memory foam headrest. This allows users to pipe in relaxing music while they enjoy a massage or provide immersive audio as they game.

When it is time to sit back and relax after a long day of work (or gaming), the Predator Gaming Chair x Osim can recline up to 145-degrees. You also get soft rubber armrests on each side that are adjustable up to 6cm. This allows users to align the chair with the height of their table while providing arm and elbow support.

Osim has cleverly concealed the control panel underneath the right armrest. Slide-out the handle and you will find all the controls you need to control the chair’s massage functions. This includes three automatic massage programs: neck & shoulders, lumbar and energize. Each program is said to have been designed by a massage expert and targets common pain points for gamers such as the neck, shoulder and lumbar regions.

The chair’s massage rollers can be adjusted to six different should positions, allowing it to cater to people of differing heights. There is even a spot massage function that comes in handy should you want it to target specific sore spots on your body.

The chair will come in two colours with a black and teal version that should appeal to hardcore gamers. Though, if you prefer something more subtle there is also is an all-black version that perfectly masquerades as a typical office chair that would fit nicely in your work-from-home setup.
