Deal: Realme 6 with 90Hz display going for RM699 on 28 August

Want an affordable smartphone with a fast refresh rate display? Realme Malaysia is offering the Realme 6 for only RM699 during its Realme Fan Fest sale. That’s RM300 off from its retail price and this is possibly be the most affordable 90Hz display smartphone in Malaysia.

You can buy the Realme 6 at RM699 only on Lazada Malaysia on the 28th August. This is for the base model that comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. In addition, you can get 5% cashback (capped at RM15) if you purchase the phone using your Lazada Wallet.

Hardware Specs

The Realme 6 features a 6.5″ Full HD+ display that pushes a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Helio G90T processor that comes with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and has 128GB of internal storage. If you need more storage, you can expand further via a dedicated microSD card slot.

For taking pictures, rear of the device comes with a quad-camera setup that features a 64MP f/18 main camera. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and two extra cameras for macro and portrait effects. For selfies, the punch-hole on the display houses a 16MP front camera.

Powering the device is a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W Flash charge via USB-C. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack and it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Out of the box, it runs on Android 10 with Realme UI skin on top.

When the Realme 6 was introduced, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model was going for RM999 but early bird customers could get it for only RM799. A month later, they released a 8GB RAM version that’s priced at RM1,199.
