Digi’s Omni Hotline now offers 06 and 09 prefixes for virtual landline numbers

Digi’s Omni Hotline is now offering 06 and 09 prefixes for its virtual phone service. This allows businesses to have a “local” number in Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.

Prior to this, Omni Hotline allows you to register landline numbers that carry the 03, 04, 05, 07, 082, 085 and 088 prefixes. With the two new prefixes, Digi says it is now possible to have a virtual landline number in every state of Malaysia. The telco added that this would provide customers with greater trust towards a business if they reside in the same area as the business number.

In case you didn’t know, Omni Hotline works like a virtual call centre and it can help to redirect calls to your assigned mobile numbers of your team. It comes with a virtual receptionist which allows you to direct calls to the right staff based on the type of query.

The best part is that the entire system is managed on the cloud via the web or through the Omni app. Your team members can also use the app to make calls to customers and the phone number displayed will be your fixed landline number. To ensure that your business won’t miss any opportunity, you can set all calls to go into voicemail after office hours and Omni can also transcribe the voice messages into text. The virtual phone service also supports WhatsApp Business.

An Omni Hotline plan starts from RM69/month for the Basic plan which comes with 1 landline number, 2 extensions, 2 interactive virtual assistants and free 50 outgoing calls. Incoming calls are free and there are higher plan options that provide more extensions and voice calls.
