[UPDATED] Celcom, Tune Talk, XOX and Yoodo users in W. M’sia may face data issues

[ UPDATE 08/05/2020 01:00 ] According to Celcom, the issue was fixed at 8.10pm and services are fully restored at 10pm.

Update: Dear customers, please be informed that this issue was resolved at 8.10pm and fully recovered by 10pm tonight. We thank you for your patience.

[ UPDATE 07/05/2020 18:50 ] It appears that other mobile operators that utilises Celcom’s network such as Tune Talk, XOX and Yoodo are also affected. They have tweeted the same message as Celcom.

If you’re having connectivity issues on your Celcom mobile line, you’re not alone. It appears that Celcom customers in Peninsular Malaysia may experience issues while browsing and accessing some data services.

Customers in parts of Peninsular Malaysia may find their browsing and some data services experience affected. Our technical team is working to resolve this issue and services are expected to return to normal by 6:00am tomorrow, 8 May 2020.

Celcom is aware of the problem and they are working to restore its data services as soon as possible. According to their tweet, its services are expected to return to normal by 6.00am tomorrow, 8th May 2020.

Apart from Celcom, other Mobile Virtual Network Operator such as Yoodo, XOX and Tune Talk are also affected. The respective mobile brands have posted the same message as well on their respective social media channels.

Customers in parts of Peninsular Malaysia may find their browsing and some data services experience affected. Our technical team is working to resolve this issue and services are expected to return to normal by 6:00am tomorrow, 8 May 2020
