Maxis offers 2x Huawei P40 from RM159/month

Maxis has just introduced a twin device deal for the latest Huawei P40 and P40 Pro. The bundle is only offered on the Maxis Zerolution instalment program that comes with zero upfront payment for eligible customers.

According to the FAQ, the Zerolution program is open to existing customers with no contract and it is also open to eligible new customers that port-in. The twin device offer is applicable on either MaxisONE Plan 158 or 188 and you must also sign up for an extra MaxisONE Share 48 supplementary line.

Huawei P40

The Huawei P40 which retails for RM2,799 and you can get two from RM159/month on MaxisONE Plan 188 + MaxisONE Share. In total, that’s RM395/month all-in excluding taxes. For a cheaper monthly commitment, two P40 can be yours for RM169/month on MaxisONE Plan 158 + MaxisONE Share, which will cost you a total of RM375/month all-in excluding taxes.

Huawei P40 Pro

The higher-spec P40 Pro which is sold for RM3,899 outright is going for RM219/month for two units on MaxisONE 188 + MaxisONE Share 48 (RM455/month all-in without taxes). On MaxisONE 158 + MaxisONE Share 48, it will cost you RM229/month for the devices or RM435/month all-in without taxes.

With this twin bundle deal, you’re saving around RM26-42 each month instead of getting two separate contacts (principal + supplementary). If you’re getting the P40 Pro on MaxisOne Plan 188 + MaxisOne Share 48, that’s RM1,008 in savings for the entire 24 month contract period.

In addition, the devices come with 1-year extended warranty and 1-month screen protection. The device also comes with 3 months Huawei Video subscription, 3 months Maxis SafeDevice subscription and 12-months 50GB Cloud Storage. The P40 is also getting a wireless charging case as a free gift, while the Pro model comes with a free Wireless Car Charger.

Do note that the P40 series is Huawei’s first P-series flagship to come without Google Mobile Services. Instead, it comes pre-loaded with Huawei Mobile Services with AppGallery. To learn more about the devices, you can check out our announcement and first impressions post.

If you’re interested, the twin device bundle offer is only available at Maxis stores. During the movement control order period, their store operating hours are limited to Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between 10am to 4pm. You can find the list of Maxis Stores that are open during the MCO here.
