OnePlus 8 Launch: Here’s how to watch the live stream in Malaysia

The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro will be officially unveiled this evening. This is the latest 5G flagship smartphone from OnePlus that will run on the latest Snapdragon 865 processor and it’s also their first to support wireless charging.

The event is taking place at 11:00am EDT on 14th April, which is today at 11:00pm Malaysian Time. You can watch the unveiling on OnePlus’ Facebook page or via the YouTube embed below:

Apart from having the latest processor with 5G for 2020, the new model will feature a screen that offers a smoother 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model is expected to come with a quad-camera setup and will also feature 30W fast wireless charging. This allows you to charge the phone without cables up to 50% charge in just 30 minutes.

Everything will be revealed this evening and hopefully, it will be available in Malaysia very soon. The current OnePlus 7T Pro was announced in early October and it was released locally a few weeks later.

At the moment, the OnePlus 7T Pro with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is going for RM2,899. If you’re thinking of getting one, you can check out our full review.
