The Huawei Nova 7i is coming to Malaysia on Valentine’s Day. Huawei Malaysia is also offering a pre-order promo where you can get a Huawei Band 4 worth RM139 for free.

According to the Chinese smartphone maker, the Nova 7i is officially priced at RM1,099 and you can pre-order from 14th to 21st February 2020. It is available at all Huawei authorised stores as well as Huawei’s online store.

At the moment, Huawei Malaysia has not revealed the full spec-sheet just yet but we do know that it is based on the Nova 6 SE that’s currently sold in China. The device has a 6.4″ Full HD+ IPS LCD display and it runs on a Kirin 810 processor. In China, the Nova 6 SE comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via NM card.

For taking pictures, the device will come with a quad-camera setup featuring a 48MP main shooter. The Nova 6 SE also gets an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP shooter for depth effects. For selfies, the new device also gets a 16MP front camera that claims to offer superior video quality and it will also come with a built-in video call feature called “MeeTime”.

The device is expected to come with a large 4,200mAh battery that supports Huawei’s 40W SuperCharge via USB-C. It is also worth pointing out that the Nova 7i could the first Nova smartphone in Malaysia to come with Huawei Mobile Services.

If you prefer a flagship-class device that still comes with Google Mobile Services, you could consider the Huawei Nova 5T which is now going for RM1,399. The device runs on a Kirin 980 processor and it has 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage. As a Valentine’s day promo, the Nova 5T is offered for only RM2.14 during a flash sale on 12th February.
