You can now pre-order the Apple AirPods Pro in Malaysia

The Apple AirPods Pro is coming to Malaysia very soon and if you want to secure a unit early, retailer Thundermatch on Lazada is now accepting pre-orders. These wireless earbuds are the first in-ear headphones from Apple that support active noise cancellation.

As revealed earlier, the AirPods Pro is officially priced at RM1,099. Although Apple has yet to reveal its Malaysian availability, the listing has indicated that stocks are expected to arrive on the 9th December 2019.

Compared to the standard AirPods, the Pro version uses an in-ear design that uses silicon tips. The stems are shorter with a pressure-sensitive button. You can pinch it to control your music playback, answering phone calls or to activate transparency mode, which allows you to hear your surroundings.

The noise-cancelling headphones also support “Hey Siri” and it comes with a sweat and water resistance rating of IPX4. Do note that it isn’t designed for submersion.

On a full charge, it is rate to last 4.5 hours of music playback with ANC enabled and you can get 24 hours of total playback with the charging case. If you turn off ANC and transparency mode, it can last slightly longer at up to 5 hours.

The case can support Qi wireless charging and you can also charge it via lightning cable. A quick 5-minute charge can replenish the battery with 1 hour of music playback.

To learn more, you can check out the product page on Thundermatch’s online store on Lazada. If you don’t need the Pro version, the current 2nd gen AirPods with a charging case is currently going for RM529 with the voucher code TMTRM30. This offer only applicable during the 11.11 sale and while stocks last.
