This is probably the most affordable Snapdragon 855+ gaming smartphone in Malaysia

If the Black Shark 2 Pro and ROG Phone II are out of your budget, the Nubia Red Magic 3S is coming to Malaysia very soon. Priced from RM2,299, this is probably the most affordable Snapdragon 855+ powered gaming smartphone at the moment and you can secure your unit for RM200.

According to retailer DirectD, the Red Magic 3S is priced at RM2,299 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage (Black + Silver) model and RM2,899 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage (Cyber shade) version. The unit comes with 1 year Nubia Malaysia warranty and you can book now with a RM200 deposit. The device is expected to be available in early November 2019.

In terms of specs, the Red Magic 3S features a 6.65″ Full HD+ AMOLED display that pushes a high 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 855+ processor that can be configured up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

For better cooling device also gets active liquid cooling with a turbo fan built-in. There’s also built-in shoulder triggers as well as a pair of stereo speakers with DTS:X enhancement. If you prefer to use your own headphones, it even comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

For imaging, it gets a 48MP f/1.7 Sony IMX 586 main camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a huge 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W quick charge via USB-C. According to Nubia, the device runs on stock Android that’s free from bloatware and pre-installed games. If you are interested, you can learn more about the device here.
