Samsung is releasing an Under Armour edition for the Galaxy Watch Active 2

After introducing the Galaxy Tab S6 yesterday, Samsung is scheduled to announce a new smartwatch before they unveil the Galaxy Note 10. For the upcoming Galaxy Watch Active 2, it appears that Samsung will be releasing a co-branded edition with Under Armour.

The image above was shared by reliable leakster @evleaks and it shows two variants of the Under Armour Edition. Apart from having a customised watch face, the watch band itself also carries a different design with the “UA” logo near the buckle.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Editon was previously mentioned by Wareable and it is expected to be released as a Bluetooth-only device. The watch will be available in either 44mm and 40mm case sizes. According to Wareable, the Under Armour edition will also come with MapMyRun integration with free six months subscription.

The new smartwatch will be announced on 5th August 2019 and it is expected to pack new features including ECG and fall detection. Although it doesn’t come with a physical rotating bezel, the new version is said to come with a virtual touch bezel instead. The Galaxy Note 10 launch is happening next week and we expect the new smartwatch to be available alongside the flagship device when it comes to Malaysia.
