Wiko has a RM199 Android Go smartphone in Malaysia

Wiko Malaysia has announced the Sunny 4 and it’s an ultra-budget smartphone which is more affordable than the Y60. This is an Android Go device, which is basically a lightweight version of the Android that uses less space and data.

The Wiko Sunny 4 is officially priced at RM199 and it is available for purchase starting today. The device comes with a 1-year warranty and Wiko is also providing a 1-to-1 exchange warranty within the first 120 days of purchase. The Sunny 4 is available in three colour options – Dark Grey, Blue and full Gold.

In terms of specs, the device comes with a 5″ FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display and it runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (likely MediaTek) with 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage. If you need more, you can add more storage via a microSD card up to 32GB.

The device comes with a 5MP selfie camera as well as a 5MP rear shooter that can shoot HD 720p videos. Powering the device is a 2,200mAh battery and out of the box it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).

In terms of connectivity, the Sunny 4 isn’t a 4G enabled device. It can support 3G HSPA+ with download speeds up to 21Mbps. The device supports 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and it also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. You can learn more from their website.
