Xiaomi Mi A3 with 128GB storage will be priced under RM1,000 in Malaysia

The Xiaomi Mi A3 will be launching in Malaysia next week and now we have a price indication from retailer, DirectD. This is Xiaomi’s pure Android device and stocks are expected to be available in early August 2019.

According to DirectD, the official Xiaomi Malaysia set for the Mi A3 will come in two variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. Both will be priced at RMX99.

As a comparison, the Mi A3 in Spain is officially priced at €249 (about RM1,150) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and €279 (about RM1,288) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version. Obviously, the Malaysian pricing will be much lower.

Overall, it is more affordable than the Mi A2. The previous model with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage was going for RM999, while the higher-spec model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage was priced at RM1,199.

To recap, the Mi A3 comes with a 6.088″ HD+ AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 665 processor. The device comes with a triple-camera setup that comes with a 48MP main camera. Posting the device is a 4,030mAh battery that charges via USB-C.
