Realme 3 Pro gets a permanent price cut in Malaysia. Best phone under RM1,000?

The Realme 3 Pro is an interesting mid-range contender as it offers a powerful processor and a large battery at an affordable price range. In conjunction with Realme’s new tagline “Dare to leap” the Oppo sub-brand has announced a price cut for its top of the line smartphone model.

Originally launched in Malaysia with a RM1,099 price tag for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, the same device is now going for only RM999. This is a permanent price cut and Realme is also having a roadshow at Sunway Pyramid Blue Concourse between 19 to 21 July 2019.

To recap on the specs, the device comes with a 6.3″ Full HD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on a Snapdragon 710 processor which is an upper-midrange unit from Qualcomm.

For imaging, it has a 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX519 main camera and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The dewdrop notch in front houses a 25Mp selfie camera that’s packed with AI beautification features.

Powering the device is a large 4,045mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge quick charging via a microUSB port. The device also supports microSD card expansion and it also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In case you missed it, Realme had recently made Ray jump off a cliff. Check out the video below:
