Celcom offers a chance to win one-year free wireless broadband when you sign up online

If you can’t get fibre broadband at home, Celcom has a Home Wireless Broadband solution that can provide faster speeds with less hassle. To entice more people to sign up through their online store, they are currently running a promotion where you can stand a chance to win a one-year subscription worth up to RM1,800.

This campaign is running from today, 11th July until 9th August 2019. According to the T&C, this 1-year free Celcom Home Wireless campaign is applicable to all Malaysians and you must be an existing Celcom postpaid or prepaid customers. You must sign up for the plan via Celcom’s online store and it isn’t valid at resellers and Blue Cube outlets.

The giveaway will run for four weeks and there will be a total of 10 winners throughout the campaign. The T&C also states that the prizes will be fulfilled by 15 August 2019. The one free year subscription will follow the plan that you’ve signed up for. If you’re on the highest RM150 plan, that’s RM1,800 in value for the total 12 month period.

This is a 4G LTE based wireless broadband service and Celcom offers three plans that come with additional data for video and music streaming. The wireless 4G LTE router is loaned to you for free and it can connect up to 64 devices. As usual, the plans are tied with a 24-month contract.

The base RM70/month plan comes with 25GB of quota and it comes with 40GB for Video and Music Walla. Meanwhile, the RM100/month plan comes with 50GB of data plus 100GB for Video and Music Walla. If your household constantly streams videos a lot, the highest RM150/month plan comes with 150GB of data plus 1TB for video and music walla quota.

Video Walla covers a wide selection of video platforms which include YouTube, iflix, Netflix, Astro Go, Tonton, Dimsum and DailyMotion. For Music Walla, it includes Joox, Raku, KKbox and a variety of digital radio stations, but unfortunately, it doesn’t include Spotify or Apple Music.

You can check if your location is covered here. If it doesn’t work for you, Celcom is also offering a 30-day return policy. For more info, you can check out Celcom’s Home Wireless Broadband page.
