Need to replace the display, battery or even the back glass panel of your Samsung Galaxy smartphone? Samsung has updated its spare parts pricing which now includes the latest crop of devices such as the Galaxy S10, Galaxy A70 and Galaxy M20.

The price list below was updated yesterday and it will take effect from 6th May 2019. Do note that these are the recommended pricing by Samsung Malaysia and it may vary at other Samsung authorised service centres.

According to the spare parts page, the pricing does not include labour cost which could vary between RM60-RM85. For service that doesn’t involve parts, the recommended cost is RM30.

It is worth pointing out that the cost for a new dual-curved Super AMOLED display is much lower than before. The 6.4″ Galaxy S10+ display is priced at RM780 and as a comparison, the old Galaxy S7 edge’s display used to cost more than RM1,000 to replace.

The most expensive part on the list is the motherboard for the Galaxy S10+ 1TB version. Obviously, it costs more with higher variants since it has a higher storage capacity. The battery cost of the Galaxy S10+’s 4,100mAh unit is RM152.90, which is surprisingly cheaper than the smaller Galaxy S10e (RM159.60) and the Galaxy S10 (RM160.50). You can check out the full listing here.

Thanks @KevinNgTK for the tip!
