Apart from home users, Maxis is also offering faster speeds for its business customers. Compared to the rest, Maxis still has the most affordable fibre business solution with price starting from RM99/month for the base 30Mbps plan.
Similar to its MaxisONE Home Fibre plan, you can now get faster 300Mbps, 500Mbps and 800Mbps options for commercial use. The broadband provider is also providing 2X Mesh WiFi devices and a cloud-based Internet Security solution for its 300Mbps plan and above. If you need more Mesh WiFi units to cover your premise, you can add-on more at RM12.50/month per unit.
The new faster plans come with one IP voice line that offers unlimited calls and if you need more, they are offering 5 extra lines for additional RM110/month and 9 extra lines for an additional RM200/month. The additional IP voice lines come with unlimited on-net calls and 1,000 shareable minutes.
Since the recent broadband price revision as a result of the implementation of the Mandatory Standard on Access Pricing (MSAP), Maxis is the only broadband provider that has slashed its pricing for business users. As a comparison, TM still charges RM179/month for 10Mbps Unifi Biz pro plan while TIME charges RM188/month (with promo) for its 20Mbps business plan. On top of that, Maxis is currently the only broadband provider that offers a backup 4G LTE connection that kicks if there’s a fibre connection issue,
Maxis is also providing additional add-ons as well. If you’re running a business that provides free WiFi to customers, there’s a managed WiFi solution at RM80/month that lets you control your bandwidth for business and customer use. On top of that, you also get a customised WiFi login page which you can use to highlight your promo or to collect customer details for marketing purposes. The Managed WiFi add-on also comes with a free enterprise-grade WiFi access point worth RM2,000.
Maxis also offers a Cloud Storage & Email solution for RM22/month. This provides 1TB of cloud storage for storing photos, videos and documents, as well as 50GB for emails.
If you need fixed IP for your connection, you can get it for an extra fee of RM200/month. For more info, you can check out the ONEBusiness Fibre page.
