[Updated] Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are down again

UPDATE: As of 9:00PM, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp appear to be up and running.

=======

It appears that Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are suffering another outage. This not only affects Malaysian users but it also appears to affect international users as well.

For WhatsApp, we can’t seem to send any messages including both text and images. Meanwhile, Instagram refuses to refresh the feed.

While other countries are reporting an outage on Facebook, we are still able to refresh our feed and post a new status update just fine.

UPDATE: Facebook via the mobile app is currently working for us. However, it isn’t accessible via their website at Facebook.com.

The last major outage was on 14 March 2019 where Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Oculus platforms are down worldwide. Facebook had to turn to Twitter to inform users of the downtime.

Are you facing outages for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp? Let us know in the comments below.

Thanks @hiw200 for the tip!
