Samsung Galaxy A7

Samsung Malaysia has just announced a price cut for its Galaxy A7. This is their latest mid-range smartphone that comes with a triple camera setup.

Originally priced at RM1,299, the Galaxy A7 is now going for RM1,099. This is a permanent price cut and it takes effect immediately.

To recap, the Galaxy A7 features a 6″ Super AMOLED display that pushes a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it runs on an Exynos 7885 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. Unlike other typical Samsung smartphones, it gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which doubles up as a power button.

While the front gets a 24MP f/2.0 selfie shooter, the rear of the Galaxy A7 gets a triple-camera setup that’s placed in a vertical array. It has a 24MP f/1.7 main camera, an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle unit and a 5MP f/2.2 sensor for depth effects. Powering the Galaxy A7 is a 3,300mAh battery that charges via microUSB.
