Datuk Seri Najib Razak is using the power of Facebook to troll the Pakatan Harapan apparently for a number of policy u-turns made by the new government. Surprisingly, his post is getting a lot of traction. Even more surprising, is the reactions and comments are mostly positive.

In a Facebook post, Najib shared a video showing a car abruptly changing direction, accompanying the video is a voice navigation from Waze that says: “In 100 metres, make a U-turn.”

The six-second clip has received over 177,000 views, 16,000 reactions, close to 2,900 comments and over 3,800 shares.

Najib said in the post:

“Menteri-menteri PH sekejap ini sekejap itu. Saya dah standby video khas untuk mereka. Tak perlu mohon share. Ambil dan guna saja. Banyak peluang kita boleh guna lagi.“

Translated: “These PH ministers are at one moment this, the next moment that. I have made standby a special video for them. No need to make request to share. Take and use it. Many opportunities for us to use again”.

The post has since received more than 16,000 reactions at the time of writing. Interestingly, a majority of the reactions are positive.

Since the defeat of Barisan Nasional and his subsequent ouster as Umno president, Najib has been quite adept at using social media to defend himself and address current issues.

He had previously slammed the new government for making U-turns on, among others, the impact of the scrapped Goods and Services Tax on prices, the abolition of tolls, the repayment of the National Higher Education Fund loans and for lifting a moratorium on security laws.
