Huawei is calling for Beta testers to test EMUI 9.0 on the Nova 3 and Nova 3i

Huawei is inviting Nova 3 and Nova 3i users to take part in its firmware beta test program to test out the EMUI 9.0. The program starts on 5 December but you can apply to be a tester from today.

To take part in the beta test program just follow these steps:

  1. Go to: http://bit.ly/EMUI9BetaTesting to download the Beta Test tool
  2. Install the tool and login 
  3. Join the beta test project when it’s ready
  4. Wait for the beta testing to be rolled out on 5 December 2018

Huawei is looking for a small number of beta testers so if you are intersted to take part you better hurry.

EMUI 9.0 is Huawei’s latest firmware and made its debut with the Mate 20 series that was launched in October this year. The firmware is designed to optimise the underlying operation commands more rapidly and efficiently with the use AI prediction technology.

A new feature in EMUI 9.0 is GPU Turbo 2.0 which boosts device performance depending on the processes and load required, especially during gaming. Huawei claims GPU Turbo 2.0 can improve game fluency and lowers touch-response delays by an average of 36%.

Performance is further enhanced with advanced temperature control that decreases screen hot-spots by up to 3.6°C.
