Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i get price revision, now at least RM200 cheaper

Huawei announced that it has revised the pricing for the Nova 3 and Nova 3i from RM1,899 and RM1,249 to RM1,699 and RM1,099 respectively, effective November 2018 onwards.

Available in the Malaysian market since mid-August this year, the Nova 3 and Nova 3i are decent devices in the below RM2,000 price range.

The Huawei Nova 3 packs a top-of-the-line Kirin 970 processor, mated to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). There’s a 3,750 mAh battery inside that charges via USB-C with support for 9V2A fast-charging.

The Nova 3i features the Huawei’s brand new mid-range Kirin 710 processor mated to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This phone features a smaller 3,340 mAh battery that charges via microUSB.

The devices are further differentiated by their camera. Although both feature quad cameras, the Nova 3 has a 16MP RGB + 24MP Monochrome dual camera at the back with an f/1.8 aperture lens with a 24MP + 2MP selfie shooter up front. On the other hand, the Nova 3i packs a 16MP + 2MP dual camera at the back with the same kind of 24MP + 2MP selfie shooter up front.

Both devices have the same 6.3-inch Full HD+ notched display and both have a 3.5mm headphone jack which is always useful.

The Nova 3 and Nova 3i are available in a special two-tone Iris Purple colour. But, if that’s not your style, the Nova 3 is also available in Black and Red while the Nova 3i has White and Black as alternative colour options.

You can get the Nova 3 and Nova 3i at Huawei Experience Stores, Huawei online stores, authorized dealers and from Huawei’s major telco partners. For every purchase, customers will receive a Nova VIP Privilege card that offers gifts and vouchers worth up to RM1,000.

Once again, the revised pricing for the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i are:
Nova 3 was RM1,899, now RM1,699
Nova 3i was RM1,249, now RM1,099
