You can now buy the ASUS ROG Phone with 512GB storage in Malaysia

If you’re looking for the ultimate gaming smartphone, the ASUS ROG Phone should be on top of your list. For those who can’t wait for its official release, you can get it now in Malaysia and this is the range topping model with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Retailer Mobile2Go is now offering the ROG Phone at RM4,999 and do note that this is an imported set. It comes with the AeroActive Cooler add-on, USB-C to USB-C Cable and a 30W (10V 3A) power adapter.

This insane gaming smartphone features a 6.0″ Full HD+ AMOLED screen that comes with a fast 90Hz refresh rate and a 1ms pixel response time. Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 845 processor that’s clocked higher at 2.96GHz for maximum performance. It also comes with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM with a choice of either 128GB or 512GB of storage which isn’t expandable.

To keep things cool during intensive gaming, the device gets a 3D vapour-chamber design and you can cool it further with an AeroActive Cooler that you can attach to the back of the ROG Phone. For imaging it gets a 12MP + 8MP camera setup at the rear while selfies are taken with its 8MP front shooter.

As you would expect with a gaming device, it gets a large 4,000mAh battery which comes with not one but two USB-C ports – one at the bottom and another at the side. This makes it practical to charge the device while you hold the device in landscape mode. Also included is a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Alternatively, you could also wait for the official ASUS Malaysia unit which is expected to go on sale this month. To learn more about the device, check out our hands-on post or watch our video below:
