The Porsche Design Mate 10 is now RM4,600 cheaper than before

If you’ve always wanted a Porsche Design smartphone, now is probably a good time to get one. Retailer Mobile2Go is offering the Porsche Design Mate 10 with a massive 65% discount from its original launch price.

The Porsche Design Mate 10 was released in Malaysia in December last year with a retail price tag of RM6,999. If you’re interested, it can now be yours for only RM2,399.

To recap on the specs, the Porsche Design Mate 10 is a premium variant of the Huawei Mate 10 series and it comes in Diamond Black which gives it a ceramic-like appearance. You get a 6.0″ FullHD+ AMOLED FullView display and it runs on a Kirin 970 processor, which is the same unit that’s powering the current Huawei P20 Pro. It has 6GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of internal storage.

For photography, it comes with a LEICA dual-camera setup consisting of a 20MP f/1.6 monochrome and a 12MP f/1.6 RGB shooter. The Mate 10 series is the first Huawei smartphone lineup to feature AI assisted scene recognition that utilises an NPU. For selfies, it has an 8MP f/2.0 front camera.

Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery which supports Huawei’s 5V4A SuperCharge via USB-C. Like the Mate 10 Pro, it also gets IP67 dust and water resistance. The device was launched with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.0 skin on top.

Would you get the Porsche Design Mate 10 instead of a Huawei P20 Pro? Let us know in the comments below.
