You won’t have to worry about fakes when you shop on LazMall

Lazada, one of the nation’s leading e-commerce platform has officially launched ‘LazMall’, a curated channel that offers customers reliable services and product quality assurance. In essence, they’re trying to make it much safer to shop online even if you have zero experience with it.

With LazMall, Lazada is making three big promises. Firstly, Lazada is guaranteeing the authenticity of the products on sale in LazMall, where customers will receive twice their money back if they encounter non-authentic products. Besides that, LazMall also offers 15 days of hassle-free returns. So, even if you change your mind, bought the wrong colour or variant, you can still return it. Customers are able to return their purchases at any of the 2,000 Lazada return points around Malaysia. 

For items Fulfilled by Lazada (FBL), LazMall promises next-day delivery within the Klang Valley. Customers who want to enjoy this perk can place their orders on weekdays before 5pm. Next-day delivery services on weekends and public holidays are not available. With this, shoppers can look forward to receiving their purchases within 24-hours. 

LazMall launches with over 500 brands including, Apple, L’oreal, Xiaomi, Unilever, Phillips, Samsung and more.

This is a very similar initiative to the Shopee Mall, which was launched by Shopee Malaysia, where they’ve also guaranteed the authenticity of the products on sale and will also offer you double your money back should the items you buy turn out to be fake. These curated subsets were conceptualised to help alleviate shoppers’ concerns about product authenticity, which I think its a pretty good initiative, especially for inexperienced shoppers. It shows that these large e-commerce platforms are taking responsibility for the things on sale on their website, and that’s a good thing.

That’s not all, Lazada has also announced the launch of a new extravaganza, dubbed 9.9 (9th of September), where shoppers are able to enjoy greater discounts and bargains on their platform. You can also start adding items to your cart now and make your purchase later when the 9.9 deal goes live. If that’s not enough, you can also retrieve special coupons and vouchers by taking part in the “Shake It” and “Slash It” games through the Lazada app.
