Samsung Malaysia offers RM999 off for a second Galaxy Note9 this weekend

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 will be available throughout Malaysia this coming Friday, 24 August 2018. If you haven’t pre-order a unit, Samsung Malaysia is offering special deals where you can get freebies worth over RM500 and enjoy RM999 off on a second unit.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 Malaysian roadshow is happening at 5 venues namely KLCC in the Klang Valley, Queensbay Mall in Penang, Aeon Tebrau City in Johor Bahru, East Coast Mall in Kuantan and Suria Sabah in Kota Kinabalu. The roadshow is happening for 3 days between 24-26 August 2018.

For early bird customers, you can get a free Samsung Screen Protection Plan worth RM140, a free Wireless Charging pad worth RM219 and a free exclusive bluetooth selfie stick worth RM156. On top of that, you also get the chance to get RM999 off when you purchase a second Galaxy Note9 unit while stocks last.

The number of freebies and units on offer are limited depending on location. For example, if you’re thinking of getting a discounted second unit with wireless charging pad, screen protection and bluetooth selfie stick, they have 420 sets in KLCC, 200 in Penang, 200 in Johor Bahru, 80 in Kuantan and 100 in Kota Kinabalu. For those who are getting just one Galaxy Note9 with freebies, they are 420 units in KLCC, 240 in Penang, 200 in Johor Bahru, 40 in Kuantan and 160 in Kota Kinabalu.

There’s also a Purchase with Purchase promo for accessories where you can get RM100 off on a Wireless Charger Duo (RRP: RM389), RM50 off on a LED Cover (RRP: RM229) and Leather Wallet cover (RRP: RM209) and RM40 off on the Silicon Cover (RRP: RM89).

If you prefer to trade-in your existing device, Samsung is also having a trade-in promo where you can get up to RM3,200 in value. Depending on your phone’s condition, the Galaxy Note8 is valued up to RM1,950, while the Galaxy S8 Plus is worth up to RM1,600. The iPhone X 64GB is listed at RM2,600 while the 256GB version is valued at RM3,200. You can check out the full list on their trade-in promo page.

To recap, the Galaxy Note9 is officially priced at RM3,699 for 128GB and RM4,599 for the 512GB version. It has a larger 6.4″ QuadHD+ Infinity Display and it runs on an Exynos 9810 processor that’s mated to 6GB (128GB storage) or 8GB (512GB storage) of RAM.

The Galaxy Note9 gets an improved S Pen with bluetooth remote control features, while the camera has the same dual 12MP camera with variable aperture and 2X Optical zoom as the Galaxy S9+.
