Huawei to introduce two new gradient colours for the P20 Pro

The Huawei P20 Pro is one of the most interesting smartphones for 2018. Not only it has a triple-camera setup that can shoot great pictures, it also gets a unique three-tone gradient paint job for its Twilight variant. Ahead of its upcoming Huawei Mate 20 release, the Chinese smartphone maker is said to be giving its P-series flagship a mid-life refresh with two new colour options.

According to Android Authority, Huawei will be introducing two new gradient paint jobs for the P20 Pro, following the success and popularity of its Twilight version. The new colours are expected to be unveiled by Huawei’s head of Consumer Business Group, Richard Yu at the upcoming IFA 2018 event in Berlin.

The first option looks like a tweaked version of Twilight but it starts from Black at the far left and it transitions to turquoise on the right. This could be similar to the honor 10’s phantom green. The next colour is said to be inspired by seashells and pearls and it will be predominantly white with some hints of yellow and pink.

The folks at Android Authority have seen photos of the new P20 Pro colours but unfortunately, they can’t reveal them to protect their source. It isn’t clear if these new colours will be available globally or if they are exclusive to the European market. At the moment, the P20 Pro is officially priced at RM2,899 in Malaysia and it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
