The 2018 World Cup is now down to the final 16 teams and it’s time for the knockout stage. If you’re wondering where and when the matches will be shown live in Malaysian time, you’ve come to the right place. Here are the latest schedule and a recap of the best ways to watch the matches live on your smartphone and TV.
To recap, RTM will be broadcasting the World Cup for free where 28 matches will be shown live, while 13 matches will be delayed. This can be viewed from the MyKlik website or via the RTM Mobile app.

As an alternative, Astro Arena channel is also broadcasting the World Cup for free and you can stream it via the Astro Go app. They will broadcast 29 matches live while 12 will be delayed. It’s also free for non-Astro users and you can even skip the registration process.

For full access to all live matches in HD, Astro is also offering a World Cup Knock-out Pass for RM30. The pass allows you to watch the remaining 16 matches live on your smartphone or tablet via the Astro Go app. If you’re interested, you can purchase the pass here.
Alternatively, you can take advantage of the Maxis RM1 World Cup pass offer. Maxis and Hotlink subscribers can purchase an Astro Go pass with free data at only RM1 per match. Take note that you’ll need to buy the pass at least 3 hours before the match begins.
