The OPPO Find X might have the most impressive screen yet

OPPO Find X

If you thought the vivo NEX was impressive with its all screen design without a notch, wait until you see OPPO’s next big thing. Ahead of its official announcement that’s happening this week, OPPO has dropped a new teaser for the Find X and it might have the “most screen” on a smartphone without the notch.

According to the teaser, the Find X will get higher than 90% screen to body ratio. The phone to beat is the vivo NEX which currently stands at 91.24%. It’s speculated that the Find X’s screen to body ratio is 93.8%, which makes it the highest on a smartphone.

If you take a closer look, it appears that the screen curves towards the side edges, which is similar to a Samsung Galaxy flagship. This approach will eliminate the side bezels and would give the device a larger display area without feeling too large in the hands. Since there’s no notch, it’s possible that it could come with a pop-up selfie camera like the vivo NEX.

To recap on the specs, the Find X will be OPPO’s real flagship after a four-year wait. It’s expected to come with top rated hardware which includes a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. After several technological showcases, OPPO might finally introduce its Super VOOC rapid charging technology and 5X Optical Zoom Dual-Camera system on a commercial smartphone.

The OPPO Find X launch is happening in Paris at 8:45PM on 19 June. That’s 2:45AM on Wednesday, 20 June Malaysian Time. You can catch the live stream here.

UPDATE: It’s 93.8% screen to body ratio.
