Two year old Samsung Galaxy S7 edge gets Android Oreo update in Malaysia

If you’re still using a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, the new Android 8.0 Oreo update has finally arrived in Malaysia. This also brings the latest Samsung Experience version 9.0 that comes with additional UI tweaks.

The Galaxy S7 edge Android Oreo update carries the version number G935FXXU2ERD6 and is about 1.4GB in size. We recommend downloading this update via an unmetered WiFi connection.

If you haven’t received any notification yet, you can download manually by going to Settings and tap on “Software Updates” at the bottom of the page. Do let us know what features you like the most with this new update.
