You can get a Huawei Mate 10 Pro at the price of a P20

The P20 and P20 Pro are Huawei’s latest and greatest smartphones. If you want to spend less on a flagship, there are a couple of interesting deals on their Mate 10 series. Not only it runs on the same Kirin 970 processor, it also gets a 6″ Full HD+ display that doesn’t have a notch.

Originally priced at RM3,099, the Mate 10 Pro can now be yours at only RM2,599. That’s RM500 off and it’s the same price as the 5.8″ Huawei P20 with a LEICA dual-camera setup.

The Mate 10 Pro comes with a larger 6.0″ AMOLED FullHD+ display and it runs on a similar Kirin 970 processor with a dedicated NPU. Unlike the P20 which has 4GB of RAM, the Mate 10 Pro gets 6GB RAM along with 128GB of non-expandable storage.

In terms of optics, it has a 12MP + 20MP dual-camera setup with OIS and both cameras have an aperture of f/1.6. The battery is a 4,000mAh unit and it also comes with IP67 dust and water resistance plus stereo audio. On top of that, you can get additional RM30 off with the voucher code GSTORE30BD.

If you’re interested, you can check out the Mate 10 Pro product page on G Store in Lazada.

Looking for an affordable alternative? The 5.9″ Huawei Mate 10 that comes with a front facing fingerprint sensor can be yours at only RM1,869 which is RM830 off its original price tag. The rest of the specs are quite similar to the Mate 10 Pro but it gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is still expandable via microSD. While it doesn’t get IP67 dust and water resistance, the Mate 10 does come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

At RM2,599, would you rather get the P20 or a Mate 10 Pro? Let us know in the comments down below.
