Stand a chance to win one year free Celcom home wireless broadband at Homedec

Celcom has officially launched its Home Wireless Broadband. It’s a home broadband solution that’s easy to install and it’s aimed for those who can’t get fibre for the home.

Unlike typical home broadband plans, there’s no hacking or wiring works required. Just plug the provided Huawei B618 router and you’ll get a WiFi connection at home that can connect up to 64 devices.

To make it easy to sign up, Celcom Home Wireless broadband has RM0 upfront and the Huawei B618 router is loaned to you for free. If you’re not happy with the service, there’s a 30-day return policy.

There are a total of 3 plans ranging from RM70/month that comes with 25GB high speed data and 40GB of Video and Music Walla. Their highest platinum plan at RM150/month offers 150GB high-speed data and a whopping 1TB for Video and Music Walla. Video and Music Walla covers a wide range of platforms including YouTube, Netflix, iflix, Astro Go, JOOX and more.

The plans are tied with a 24-month contract. If you cancel the plan before the contract ends, you would have to pay for RM499 for the device with reducing balance based on your remaining months. The wireless modem is SIM-locked to Celcom and it’s also location locked as well.

In terms of performance, Celcom says you can expect average download speeds of 30Mbps but it could go higher depending on your location. The plan is available at Blue Cube outlets and Celcom Certified Partners nationwide.

In conjunction with Homedec at KLCC, Celcom is offering a chance to win a year subscription when you sign up for a Home Wireless Gold and Platinum Plan. There will be a total of 10 winners throughout the 4 day event.

On top of that, existing Celcom FIRST Gold Plus, Gold Supreme, Platinum and Platinum Plus subscribers can get a monthly RM15 rebate (for 24 months) when they sign up for the Celcom Home Wireless Platinum Plan during the Homedec exhibition.

You can learn more about the product on Celcom’s website.
