Nokia 7 Plus Malaysian availability delayed to next week

If you were thinking of picking up a Nokia 7 Plus today, you would be disappointed. The latest Nokia smartphone was supposed to go on sale in Malaysia today but it will be available for purchase by the end of next week.

According to Nokia, there were some challenges with the phones reaching Malaysia but it will be hitting local stores next Thursday on 26 April 2018. In case you missed it, the Nokia 7 Plus retails for RM1,699 and it comes in Black/Copper and White/Copper. If you’re looking for the entry-level Nokia 1, it is already on sale at RM339.

To refresh your memory, the Nokia 7 Plus gets a large 6″ Full HD+ display in an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

For taking pictures, it gets a 12MP f/1.75 + 13MP f/2.6 telephoto camera combo at the rear, while the front comes with a 16MP selfie camera. It has a rather large 3,800mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C. The Nokia 7 Plus is an Android One device and it is already running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
