Watch FC Barcelona’s attempt at breaking a 20-year-old record this weekend, for free

It’s not often that you get to watch a record-breaking event, but this time you can and it’s thanks to beIN SPORTS CONNECT.

For those who are unfamiliar, beIN SPORTS CONNECT is a live sports streaming platform that streams sporting events — like football, boxing and motor racing — live on their website. This weekend, from the 14th of April at midnight to 8am on the 16th of April 2018, you’ll be able to get full access to their website for free.

Of course, the highlight sport is football and beIN supports a whole bunch of different leagues including La Liga, Super Lig, Ligue 1 and the Hyundai A-League. This means you can this weekend’s FC Barcelona match (14 April, 10.10pm) where they take on Valencia in an attempt to break a two-decade old record of 38 unbeaten matches in a row for free.

Other highlights in football include Ligue 1’s game where Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) take on Monaco (16 April, 2.25am) and the Turkish Super Lig’s match between Galatasaray and Basaksehir (15 April, 11.55am).

With beIN SPORTS CONNECT, you can also pause and rewind live matches too, which is useful if you need to use the bathroom halfway. A monthly beIN SPORTS CONNECT subscription costs RM20/month and you can subscribe through their website or via their app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
