In conjunction with their CNY 2018 sale, retailer, DirectD, is offering significant discounts on last year’s flagship models. You can now get a Sony Xperia XZs that has a 960fps slow-mo capability for under RM2,000, while the 4K display Xperia XZ Premium is now going for less than RM3,000.
Both the Xperia XZs and Xperia XZ Premium were first announced at MWC 2017. The Xperia XZs was originally priced at RM2,899 and it comes with a 5.2″ Full HD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. About six months ago, it was slashed to RM2,699 but now it’s going for only RM1,988. You can learn more about the Xperia XZs in our full review.
Meanwhile, the XZ Premium was originally priced at RM3,399 but you can have it now for RM2,899. It comes with a 5.5″ 4K HDR display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
If you’re looking for something newer, the Xperia XZ1 which was announced during IFA 2017 is now going for RM2,488 instead of its original price tag of RM2,999. It retains a similar 5.2″ Full HD display but it gets a newer Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. It is one of the first smartphones to run on Android 8.0 Oreo and it also gets a more refined exterior compared to the Xperia XZs.
