You can pre-order the DJI Mavic Air in Malaysia

The DJI Mavic Air is probably the best compact drone right now as it packs the best features from both the Mavic Pro and the Spark into a sleek and compact form factor. It was announced recently and if you’re interested, you can pre-order one right now in Malaysia.

For the basic Mavic Air set, Drones Kaki is offering it for RM3,399 and it comes in 3 colours. Unlike the Spark which is very barebones, the standard package does come with a remote controller and 4 pairs of propellers.

For the full Fly More Combo, Drones Kaki is selling it at RM4,399. For an extra RM1,000 over the standard Mavic Air, you’re getting 6 pairs of propellers, 3x intelligent flight batteries, a charging hub and a shoulder bag.

At KLDSLR’s listing, the Mavic Air Fly More combo is slightly cheaper at RM4,298.88 with stocks expected to arrive 14-20 days before Chinese New Year.

The Mavic Air is lighter, faster and it can shoot 4K videos (30fps) at 100Mbps bitrate. It has a 12MP camera with a 3-axis gimbal and it can capture 32MP resolution photo in panorama mode. If you forgot to bring a microSD card, the Mavic Air has 8GB of built-in storage.

In terms of intelligent features, it now has obstacle avoidance for the front, bottom and rear. A full charge can give a maximum flight time of 21 minutes and it has a top speed of 68.4km/h in sports mode.

In the US, the DJI Mavic Air retails for US$799 (about RM3,117), while the Fly More Combo is going for US$999 (about RM3,896). To learn more, you can check out our Mavic Air announcement post.
