honor View10 is available for pre-order in Malaysia next week

The honor View10 (also known as the honor V10 in China) is coming to Malaysia earlier than expected. Initially scheduled to hit Malaysia on 15 January 2018, you can get one as early as next Friday.

This is honor’s latest flagship with a 18:9 FullView display and it shares a lot of similarities with the Huawei Mate 10 series.

The honor View10 is priced at RM2,099 and it will be available officially starting 12 January 2018. Pre-order for the device will start next Monday, 8 January until 10 January 2018. For the first 1,000 pre-order customers, they are bundling RM699 worth of free gifts which include the honor band A2 and a Final Fantasy redemption card. The honor View10 is available in Blue and Black.

To recap, the View10 gets 5.99” FullHD+ display with a 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it runs on a Kirin 970 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Similar to the Huawei Mate 10, there’s a fingerprint sensor at the front mounted right underneath the display.

The View10 also gets a dual camera system consisting of a 20MP monochrome sensor and a 16MP RGB sensor. Unlike the Mate 10 series, there’s no OIS and both gets an f/1.8 aperture instead of f/1.6. For selfies, the View10 gets a 13MP f/2.0 front camera. It also gets a large 3,750mAh battery which supports SuperCharging via USB-C. It still retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and it runs on Android 8.0 with EMUI 8.0 on top.

At RM2,099, the View10 is quite competitive for the specs it packs. If you’re interested, the View10 pre-order will be available via Vmall, Lazada, Shoppe and 11street.
