honor 8 Pro users can get Android 8.0 Beta in Malaysia

The honor 8 Pro will be getting an EMUI 8 update that’s based on Android 8.0 Oreo. For those who can’t wait, you can get the taste of Android 8.0 Oreo today with its beta program.

To give EMUI 8.0 Beta a try on your honor 8 Pro, just install Huawei’s Friendly User Test application from this website, log in using your Huawei ID and join the beta program. Since it’s still beta, do proceed only if you’re aware of the potential bugs and instability with non-final software.

With the latest version of Android, the honor 8 Pro will receive new features such as picture-in-picture (PiP), better notifications management and an updated autofill feature that saves your login to your favourite apps. These features are already available on the Huawei Mate 10 series which are running on the latest EMUI 8.0.

If you’re still interested in the honor 8 Pro, it is now priced at RM1,799 instead of its original price tag of RM1,999. It features a large 5.7″ Quad HD display, a Kirin 960 processor with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a large 4,000mAh battery.
