This is what the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ would look like

The next big thing from Samsung will be the Galaxy S9 and S9+ which are expected to be released in the first quarter of 2018. While it’s still early, serial leakster @onleaks have just released more details and a full 360 render of these two flagship devices via MySmartPrice and 91mobiles.

If you don’t like the fingerprint sensor placement on the current Galaxy S8/Note8 series, you’ll be pleased to know that Samsung has finally fixed it on their upcoming models.

In terms of design, the Galaxy S9/S9+ aren’t radically different from the current flagship models. You still get an Infinity display which dominates the entire front of the device but unfortunately, Samsung isn’t introducing an embedded fingerprint sensor on the screen just yet. The notable change is the fingerprint sensor at the back which is now positioned right below the camera. This should make unlocking easier without smudging the camera lens. The LED flashlight and heart rate sensor are still retained but it is now positioned on the right side of the camera lens.

While the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are only differentiated by screen and battery size, the new Galaxy S9+ will stand out with a dual-camera setup which is similar to the Galaxy Note8. This info matches what @evleaks has shared last month.

Looking at the bottom of the device, you’ll be happy to know that Samsung is still retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of specs, the Galaxy S9 will be powered by either a Snapdragon 845 or Samsung’s very own Exynos 9810 processor. Similar to the S8, it would come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage but there’s a possibility of a higher spec 6GB RAM and 128GB option for the Galaxy S9+ model.
